Project Noon is a local-first desktop shell. This policy outlines how we handle your information.

1. Data Collection & Use

Project Noon connects to third-party services (like Google) via OAuth to enable shell modules (e.g., music, calendar).

  • OAuth Tokens: Used solely for local authentication with the provider.
  • Service Data: Information fetched is used only to populate your UI widgets.

2. Local-Only Storage

All data and tokens are stored exclusively on your local machine.

  • Paths: ~/.config/noon or ~/.cache/noon
  • No data is uploaded to external servers managed by the Project Noon developers.

3. No Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your information. Your data remains strictly between your local machine and the service provider.
